Ohh I love a good spread! And I love the nutritional variety that this nut butter can bring.
Nuts are a wonderful source of magnesium, calcium, omega 3 and 6, and vitamin E.
1 tbsp of nut butter is such an easy way to get a diverse range of nutrients into the body at once.
Simply pick your favourite nuts, roast for 5 minutes, then blend!
Here's my favourite mix <3
Ingredients:
1 cup cashews
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup macadamias
1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt
2 tsp cinnamon
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C
To a baking tray, add the nuts
Roast for 5 minutes, stirring once to prevent burning
Add the nuts to a high speed blender, with 1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt, 2 tsp cinnamon
Blend on high until the mixture turns to powder, then continue blending until it resembles a sticky nut butter consistency.
