I love figuring out new ways to get more protein and micronutrients into the bodies of our children. When their 'nutrient bank' is topped up, they crave less junk, are happier, more energetic, less moody and sleep better.
Funnily enough, adults work the same ;)
This amaze ball recipe incorporates collagen powder, which is an excellent source of amino acids (protein), provides essential nutrients like magnesium to support the nervous system and regeneration of muscle tissue, and is great for healing a leaky gut.
The dates and addition of salt provide essential nutrients to support hydration (aka electrolytes) and are good to have post workout or on a hot day.
Essentially, it's an amaze ball snack!

2 tsp cinnamon powder
4 tbsp cacao powder

Method:
Blend and roll into desired sized balls
Coat with a layer of either coconut flour/ chia seeds/ raw cacao powder if desired. This will make them less sticky.
